about

The reason why Planck's constant is [H = 6.63 x 10^-34 j-s]
is because it was discovered some time ago that some particles naturally have 1 whole rotation, whereas others have 2 half-rotations.

or 360 degrees vs. 180 degrees - twice.

Particles that spin a full rotation are called Bosons! [H / 1]
Particles that spin in half-rotations are called Fermions! [H / 2 x pi]
Depending on the type of subatomic particle, there can be different directions of spin, in various orders. For example a proton is a fermion that has 2 up-spins, followed by a down-spin.

Proton = two forward half-rotations, then one backwards half-rotation.

However, there is one particular particle you may have heard of that defies this entirely by having NO spin at all and NO charge. It was discovered to actually exist in 2011, using the Large Hadron Collider. This particle was titled the Higgs Boson. Not sure why they call it the "God Particle", but it is really is quite special. It's stationary, and as a result can only be detected under extremely specific and deliberate conditions. So much so that, while it exists in a natural system, it's so fast - you'll never see it, let alone detect it.

But it does prove that things exist that we don't even know that we don't know. Maybe it's called the "God particle" because it's one of the rare opportunities in which we were allowed to know or be aware of something that is generally off-limits to us outright. The chances of seeing one in ideal initial conditions is less than one trillionth of one billionth of a second.

[edit: "God particle" actually stands for "Goddamn Particle" because of how difficult it is to detect (50 years and multi-billion dollar instruments).]
